...to me! Got in late last night to so didn't get to post. Went for sushi and to see SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE with some friends. Had a really nice evening--the movie was different, but good. All in all I had a pretty good day. Got calls from some friends, some good 'prezzies', had a massage, and just managed to keep my head in the right place. It even snowed--nicely. I try not to think about the 'age' but to just be glad I'm in good health, have a wonderful home, and lots of people in my life who care about me. You can't beat that, at any age!

Today hasn't been anything exciting, except the power went out for a while around midday...not sure what happened, but it was a big section of town. Luckily it came back on before my guests arrived. Only one couple tonight, but that's better than none! Still waiting for business to pick up...

I had some fun this afternoon though...spent some time browsing the Internet to use some gift cards I'd gotten. One was even left from last year--let's see, what did I buy? I bought an iTunes gift card (for me!), a couple of DVDs I like (The Piano and The Red Violin), a jump drive to replace the one I've somehow lost, a Karaoke CD, and a stainless steel water bottle (odd, I know, but I'm trying to break away from plastic!). I still have enough money left on my Amazon card to buy a REAL iPod if I decide to...I'm really wanting to go MP3s all the way...we'll see if I do!

No big plans for tomorrow. I really need to continue on my organizational track, and try to get my taxes in order. Also, the writing is gently whispering my name... I hope we connect soon.
