Yes, it's VERY cold here, in the low teens. At the moment, it's been clear, but supposedly we have snow and possibly ice headed our way. Yuk! Snow I can handle, but not the ice! I did manage to get out today and run some errands, and then settled in for 2 bookings this evening. It's nice to have people in the house again. I miss that, even though I'm still not a great early riser. I manage.

Last week was sort of a downer all in all, and I was glad to see the end of it, but I actually am feeling better, beginning to make decisions about my life and move ahead. Today I felt pretty good all in all. The only low thing is that a very good friend of mine is dying of cancer, and I wish I knew how to help, but I don't know there's much I can do at this point. Sent some flowers today, just to hopefully brighten her view and cheer her up. This much I know is true--Cancer SUCKS. But I also know something else, you have to live your life while you have it, no matter how many hurts or disappointments it brings. My friend's illness makes me stronger in my resolve to do that.

Otherwise, not much else to report. Just keeping busy and hoping for lots of busy weekends in February!
