I've had guests for a few nights in a row, so was tired at the end of the day...It's quiet this week, but gearing up for Valentine's Day which will be a pretty busy weekend. It's good to have the business though...

Friday was Mary Ellen's memorial service. It was nice, but most funerals I've been to don't really capture the 'essence' of the person, and I didn't feel hers did either. I felt more 'with' her when we had our downtown 'toast.' We all told funny stories and laughed and that's what she would have wanted. I still can't believe she's really gone, but in a way, maybe my memories hold her here. I'm glad for them, but will miss sharing 'the latest' with her. The newspaper did a nice article, and I'm so glad they did...

Not really much else to report. I'm working on freelance and getting tax stuff ready and just keeping busy. Life has been ok, for the most part. Guess I'm getting a feel for my 'new' life... Tomorrow I'm going to JC to see a movie with the film group... A nice 'diversion...' (Carl!) Reading a lot, and planning to get back to the 'memoir' soon... Oh, my play is on hold till Fall, but looks like the college is still planning to put it on, so that's good. Fall will be a good time to do it...
