Well, not really, but life is getting back to normal after our big HGTV day yesterday. It went well and was a lot of fun--I fell in a hole in the attic, but I didn't hurt myself too much--just a bit of a scrape and bruise on my knee! They like to do these reinactments about stuff you find--the stuff they focused on wasn't what I might have chosen--I thought it was more boring than some of the stuff we've found, but they wanted to stay focused on the people who owned the house. I'm sure the show will be great, no matter how they spin it!!
Today I've worked all day, except for a brief outing to help at Victorian Christmas. The Churchill Memorial holds this event every year, and they have a 'tea' during the day, then a cocktail reception in the evening. It's always a nice, dress-up event.
Before and after, I've been working hard to get everything done so I can leave town on Sunday, rather than Monday, and have an extra travel day. I love to make little stops, and I want to have time for that! I'm spending one night in Oklahoma with my great-aunt, which will be lovely. I always enjoy seeing her family when I can.
So, that pretty much covers my day!!
