I managed to get a good bit done on my curriculum project today, and next week should be able to wrap the first book up before I leave town. Yeah! It helps to go away 'guilt-free.' I'm driving to Texas to see my son and folks--Jim is going to Utah to see his son--alas, separate holidays this year. Oh well... It's so hard to get away from here, makes it sort of necessary if we both want to see our own families...

Next week is going to be very busy with HGTV coming, and we even called a housekeeper today to come on Monday and help us get ready. It just suddenly occurred to me I wasn't going to get it all done in time. We know this lady, and she'll be a big help, I think! One more weight off my mind!!

Another full house this weekend, and another murder mystery...the last one for a while, and I'm glad. I'm tired of them...they're a lot of work and not a big payoff. I did much better with the spa weekend, and had more fun!

Hoping to get jewelry made this weekend so I can have plenty to sell for my booth, and maybe this shop in Columbia I'm trying to convince to take it... It's a vintage shop and it would go great with her stuff...so we'll see. Anyway, that's it for me at the moment. Time to go have dinner!
