Once again I've fallen off the blog wagon...I've just been busy trying to get stuff done before we leave for LA, and haven't been in a very good place on top of that. Lots going on and a lot of it bad. We had an ice storm here, lost lots of branches off the trees, but luckily kept our power, which is good, since we have had a full house! We had to bump our trip a day, and we're leaving on Thursday and only going for 4 days now, but I guess that's ok...we have a ton of stuff to do here, and it's not great leaving the house in this kind of weather. We have a housesitter, but if anything came up, we'd need to be here... So it'll all work out for the best, I guess. Also, I need to get back in case anything comes up with my mom--she'll find out tomorrow if she's going the surgery route or the chemo route first. Not sure if I'll need to head back down to Houston or not...we'll see.

I did manage to get over to Columbia today, to go to the bank and get a hair cut. It looks real cute, and I sure needed a lift. Also got a cute top to go with my skirt for the party in LA. It's not too fancy, but we do dress up a little. Gotta start thinking about packing now...

It's been raining today and the ice is melting...I just hope it doesn't freeze over again tonight. Yuk, I hate ice!
