- Fictions: The Interpretation of a Murder by Jed Rubenfeld
I'm coming down from a really wonderful weekend, with our Celia event and a fabulous concert by Narissa Bond on Saturday. In spite of a snowstorm, we had about 40-50 people turn out for the event, and she's a fabulous performer so it was really cool. I'm going to miss her, as she's been here since Wed and went home today. A soothing peaceful soul who provided a lot of interesting conversation and I hope a new friendship... Since her mom, who also came in for the events, lives in St. Louis, I'm hoping I'll see more of them both in the year ahead...
Otherwise life has been steady, if not always calm. I'm pretty much done with Christmas shopping, though I haven't really gotten anything off to my son yet--he's in a transitional job at the moment, so didn't want to mail stuff there... He'll be in the Houston area soon, which is nice. Tomorrow I need to get stuff wrapped and then go to the store for FOOD! I was supposed to have jury duty this week, but I'm not needed yet and supposed to call in on Wed. We'll see what happens then...nothing, I hope!
In the meantime, I hope all of you bloggers out there have a great holiday! If I'm not here tomorrow, I'll be back soon!!!
