I've been working steadily, mentally and physically, trying to pick up the energy level, but so far haven't had much luck. Maybe I'll do better over a movie and a ton of ironing this weekend! At least it keeps me focused on something outside my HEAD. Luckily our beautiful weather is holding still, so I've been able to enjoy mornings and evenings on the back porch, which is where I'm heading shortly... Last night had a couple of friends over for dinner and that was great, too, just visiting, laughing, and enjoying a glass of wine. Wish I could do that EVERY night!

Tomorrow the local Street Fair starts. I have mixed feelings about it, for a variety of reasons, but I do hope it's a big success for Fulton. Things like this are an important part of tourism for this town, and I want to see it grow. They have a couple of 'girl' bands coming in, so it'll be fun to check those out. Also a carnival, which is kind of cool. I may walk down later and watch the lights for a bit. Or not.

Guess that pretty much sums up my day. Nothing too exciting, and not feeling very motivated at the moment. I am planning a trip with a friend to Chicago, but not till July. Still, maybe I'll get there sooner to visit my other friend, who actually lives there. That would be great, actually. Getting out of town right now is good!
