Guess I just get sidetracked with this and that, and it's always hard to get back on track after the busy weekends! I also had some family this weekend...my great-aunt and second cousin came in and it was so good to have them here, especially since it was sort of a difficult weekend for me. But I survived, and things are better this week. Nothing like having family around to perk up your spirits! (No, really, I'm serious!)
I got my proof copy of Glass Hours in the mail today, my latest book with
BooksforaBuck.com. It came out pretty good considering I did the inside myself. I'm hoping to have a signing in town in the next month or so...which would be good since I haven't been exactly great on the publicity scale lately...not to mention the writing scale! Still, I'm just trying to honor my own process at the moment, and not push anything too hard...
Last night the City honored the new historical houses on our street, which will now make our street a historic district. I went to the reception, and felt good about the work I'd done pulling all this together. I hope the others did as well...I love the history of Fulton and enjoy being a contributor to its legacy. Still, things are a bit awkward for me in town right now...I really hope I can move beyond that feeling soon. I'm working on it...
That's pretty much it for me at the moment. Gearing up for another weekend!
